Our Curriculum

At Beacon of Hope Academy, we are proud to utilize the "Simply Classical" curriculum by Memoria Press as the foundation of our academic program. This curriculum is designed to provide a classical education approach that is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of students who require special education services.

The "Simply Classical" curriculum focuses on a systematic and structured approach to education, emphasizing foundational skills and knowledge in a clear and organized manner. It is carefully crafted to support students in their academic, cognitive, and developmental growth, while also addressing their individual learning challenges and strengths.

By incorporating the "Simply Classical" curriculum into our academic program, we are able to offer a rigorous yet nurturing learning experience that fosters intellectual, spiritual, and emotional growth. This curriculum helps us create a supportive and enriching environment where every student can thrive and succeed, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and personal development.

In addition, we incorporate "Handwriting Without Tears" for handwriting instruction and enhance our Math and ELA lessons with online resources like Zearn, ASD Reading, and Lexia.

To enrich our Bible Study instruction and deepen our students' faith, we engage with The Bible App for Kids and Answers in Genesis' "Mrs. C & Me: Journey Through the 7 C's of History" into our curriculum. By integrating these diverse resources, we provide a comprehensive and faith-based educational experience that caters to the unique needs of each student.
